im looking at relocating and changing the battery, but I'm not sure if they are coded in some way to the car and as such, any replacement not being hooked into the ECU would throw up warnings? Has anyone changed their battery that can share some info?
If you're going for a smaller battery for weight etc check that you have a decent Cold Crank Amps figure. of course for track use it's less of an issue but RWYB cars have to start to get to the track
I have relocated mine to the spare wheel well, fitted a gel battery, no issues, needed the battery area for my charge cooler
