Just wondered if anyone that is tracking the car has moved to a thicker front ARB (i think the Trophy R is 24mm, a similar one is available from Superpro) and whether they've also added a rear ARB and what difference they have seen? I found it odd that a thicker front ARB would have been fitted by Renault... that would usually promote understeer, so I don't know if the move to the Ohlins has also changed the geo setup somehow so they've reduced roll but not created any more understeer Would welcome any experience from others
Hello, You can find very cheap front ARB from Renault directly if you check the Bay for Scenic, Grand Scenic, Espace, Grand Espace. You can find them every 1mm steps up to 23 or 24 (can't remember exactly). S.
Looking on the pictures and documents I have available, I can't really see any difference between the Mk2 and Mk3 front ARBs. Unless someone can show some differences, which I'm also interested to see. S.
Was looking at: http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/details.php?itemid=336&model=-1 and http://www.pure-motorsport.co.uk/details.php?itemid=337&model=11 The RS ones seem to be either 20mm or 21mm, the Trophy R is 24.2mm (I think) And none have rear ones Just curious as to whether or not anyone is using them, and what their experience was
This normally facilitates the use of a softer spring in favour of ride comfort, biasing chassis control to the ARB. RS 175 Lux
