Should have a Renaultsport sticker on the inside. The other way to tell is that the carbon weave is a 4x4 twirl so quite large. All other aftermarket bonnets generally use a smaller 2x2 twirl. Also check if it's milky colour around where the turbo is, if it is then it'll prob be genuine as they used cheap resin.
Looks milky in the pics .. I've messaged him a few times and everytime he avoids the question about wether it's gone white above the engine , also won't send any up close pics . It's sold on eBay before and now been relisted
Cheers John, My car is actually in Bolton having some new bits on. I might see if i can have a look at it. Looks like he's into his Meg's given the other cars in the pics.
Genuine will be carbon on the underside with not strengthening in the middle like the aftermarket ones with fiberglass strengthening... And will have Renault stickers and part numbers etc
As above. Ask for pics of the stickers. We do a fully carbon version underneath as does Streamline although if your painting it then I guess it doesn't really matter.
Its 5 miles from my house so gonna dive in tomorrow and have a look. I guess quality of fit and durability are top of my priority list. Defo gonna have it painted.
No, i didn't have time in the end. It went for £255. It'll either be a bargin or back up on ebay in a week lol
