Anyone used either of these they both seem fairy cheap and get good reviews I'm looking for a new set to replace my toyos that are on limit http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Vredestein/Ultrac-Vorti.htm http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Continental/ContiSportContact-5-P.htm I'm not the most knowledgable when it comes to tyres so any opinions are welcome thanks
I've got a set of Vorti on at the minute. Phenomenal grip dry or wet.. And the wear and cost is fantastic. Don't like the side wall design tho It's more designer than racey/ sporty!
Just had some fitted not so long ago too on the front, quite like them so far. Side walls pretty stiff so none of that blancmange turn in and grip so far seems better than the PS's it had on it. Seems to have got rid of some of tram lining and stuttering on full lock, though that might just be because the old tyres were fupped. Good price too
defo good price. I think they're easily better than the PS3s- much sharper grip under braking and cornering. It will be a push to say this but maybe just as good grip as PS2s in the dry, but given Vortis are much better in the wet and are around £20 a corner cheaper you could say a better tyre overall. Think I would still choose a PS2 in the summer ......
Thanks for the input guys I think it's between these two and the nankang that cazan racing are selling unless toyo give me a replacement then I'll go with them again as I want all the same
No probs if you go for the conti sport 5s let us know how they fair. I had the conti sport 3 on my last car and they were good, but they were very soft and didn't last long !
