I'm getting some really annoying rattles on certain roads. All the rattles are from the back. The first is a really annoying squeak like a loud mouse. It sounds like it's coming from the rear seats. If someone is sitting at the back then i hardly get that squeak. Second most annoying noise is a rattle that at first thought was from the parcel shelf. It's a constant rattle on certain roads. I took out the parcel shelf and it was still there so it's not the parcel shelf. Has anyone had any experience with these rattles and any solutions?
The first maybe something to with the seatbelt buckles or the fixing points of the seats themselves? Try removing the rear bench? Has for the rattle, maybe the bootlid itself, i know if the catch plate isnt tight enough (even thou it seems tight) then you get rattles when the body flexes or go over bumps.
my r26 rattles and squeeks everywhere in the cabin...my 16 year old ford puma doesn't make a single rattle/squeak. don't know how Renault get it so wrong witrh cabin materials
I've owned a 56 plate 225 and now an R26. The heaters on both make weird random noises, 225 heater sounded like pebbles in a washing machine. On my R26 I intermittently have a cricket in the heater, turn it full blast and it usually goes, but comes back to haunt me. The dashboard often sounds like someone rubbing a piece of polystyrene on glass. Other times it's really quiet. French tat. Sent from my E6653 using Tapatalk
