Ancillary hose sizes

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by Poppaboost, Oct 14, 2016.

  1. Has anyone changed all their ancillary hoses and if so how much lengthwise and what sizes are required?

I had a quick look earlier and think it's gonna need 4,6 and 8mm id hose and maybe some 3mm too, would a metre of each be enough to do them all?

  5. Yeah I know I can buy those 5 but I want to do them all including all the other ones and as that kit is £50 and a few lengths would be half that price, I'd rather just make them up myself, just need to know sizes.

  6. I originally changed all mine to stainless braided hoses

  7. Can you remember what size hoses you used though LTM?

  8. An6 & an4 mate

  9. That the same as 4 and 6mm id hose then?

  10. -4 is 3/8"
    -6 is 1/2"

Its a pain in the arse to convert to AN fittings though lol
