I got some new speakers installed yesterday and they sound a lot better but are much quieter! I assume I need an amp to power them? I hate the look of aftermarket head units so that's not an option for me. Any suggestions?
Amp will be shockingly crap, as you will have to connect it to the standard HU, which is another reason your new speakers are still lame. Last few times i looked for a new HU i stuggled to find anything i liked look of, would probaly get a mechless one, as i only play mp3's
Well, I'm just looking for something that will increase volume because with the new speakers I have to turn it up to full 32 to get it the same as 20 on the originals, it does sound a lot nicer though.
I would just find an amp that will fit behind the dash, and you will need some sort of output converter, to make the speakers cables into rca ports
