Need to get the wheels done this summer - how have people gone on matching the original anthracite paint with powdercoat? My Clio wheels came out ok years ago but the colour wasn't a brilliant match.
Your prob better having them wet painted Daz. Megane Renaultsport with cup chassis and R26 (Anthracite) Ixcell 205-272 Paint Code Hope this helps bud.
Were they fully chemically dipped and redone or just sanded down and painted? The guy I use does the usual. Chemical strip, prime & bake, top coat & bake, lacquer & bake then does the inner wheel with a heat resistant lacquer and final bake. Never had any issues and I've used him for years and cars that have had 6 and 8 pot AP's and Brembo's etc.
Not sure, but I keep the immaculate, they've gone where the original build of brake dust was. They're far from f'ugly don't get me wrong but I know it's there.
I had mine powder coated at WRC (wheel repair centre) in preston and its very close to the original anthracite paint and the finish is great inside and out of the wheel
