  1. No, the standard 235/35R19 for me!

  2. Ah ok, im used to talk about 18s

oem on 18s is 235 but pss only come in 225 or 245 for the 18's so ill wait until all 4 need doing to change, dont want different widths front to back

instal looks great, i just had a focal ibus flat sub put in my boot, helps no end!

  3. Ah yes fair enough. The 19's do look huge sat in the garage! Have you run PSS before? You'll love them if not!

I've heard good things about the Focal iBus, and I've always loved the sound of Focal gear!

  4. No always ps2s so ill go pss next....but thatll be a while!

yeah its great, not ground breaking but really good bit of kit no complaints from me but not a patch on your setup!

  5. You won't regret the PSS!

And I guess it just depends what you're after really. The ease of installation of something like an iBus is certainly appealing!

  6. A bit of an update following service and various other bits at K-Tec the other day. Great service as usual, though unfortunately my rear discs and pads needed doing too making for quite a hefty bill!

    - Vibratechincs lower engine mount

I don't think my old mount was particularly worn, but when I saw this for sale on the forum I thought I would give it a go, after a similar thing making quite a difference to my old 172 Cup. But to be honest I didn't expect much. How wrong I was! Anyone considering one of these, it's a great purchase - really tightens up the gear change and removes the movement you can feel when dipping the clutch. What a difference!

    - K-Tec braided lines

The brakes feel a lot better than before, with a firmer pedal more predictable feel. Although, to be fair, I did replace F&R discs and rear pads at the same time, so hard to pin-point where the improvement is from. But still a worthwhile purchase in my mind!

    Cheers
    Alex

Both the above are great additions, The lower mount really does have a noticeable effect although i get a lot of extra NVH with mine but that is probably down to the light SMF i have.

Braided lines change the pedal feel as well, Much nicer and more linear.

  8. Agreed - both seem great. I haven't really noticed an increase in noise, so I would say most of that probably is due to the flywheel on yours. How do you find the SMF?

TBH, Not that great. It really isn't worth the slight performance benefit IMO

Very, very noisy, Adds a lot of vibration and generally makes it sound broken LOL
