Hi, after buying my 250 a few months back i noticed in the recent warm weather that the aircon was not working. Took it in this morning to get it re-charged, garage said there was very little gas in it and that they have re-filled and checked for leaks all good. However, when I switch the A/C on I still do not notice any significant cooling then when its off. The compressor is kicking in as expected, any ideas ? Thanks
Just to add, Ive read somewhere that a fault code stored in the ECU can cause the A/C to stop working and needs to be cleared. I think that was on the MK2 meganes. Anyone know if this could be a possibility with the MK3 as well ?
Yes, this is possible on the Mk3 as well. I had to get a fault code cleared just to get the ventilation fan working again as well. Just let them hook it up to CLIP and they can clear it; shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Maybe they didn't do this when they refilled the system..?
