That's it really every time I start the car the air-con light comes on as well is there a way of changing this so it's off and only comes on when I turn it on? BTW I have an RS250 cup
The normal, default behavior you mean? It's not broken? Somebody with clip might be able to re-program the car, but why do you want to?
It comes on even if it's not on windscreen and don't want it on when I start the car as often I forget it comes on and drive miles before eventually spotting the air con light and switching it off and not that I'm that bothered but doesn't driving round with the air-con on effect fuel economy?
Oh right just happens to me when I have it on windscreen and towards your body when I turn it to just the body it is never on when I start car
Yeah it does effect fuel economy, but so does driving the car The manufacturers seem to have had a shift wrt AC and default it to on rather than off. I guess it will stop the seals drying out and the system failing after a couple of years. Not sure if the 250 is different, but I can turn the whole system off and the setting is remembered, but I suppose you still want the blower on all the time?
Mine only does this if pointing at the windscreen or floor and windscreen combo. If I leave it on floor only it won't automatically come on
