hi all Lookin at purchasing a 250 cup.... Tomorrow Simply how can I tell it's actually a cup model with the diff ? I went out in it and it's handle like it's on rails !
Depends Is it a true cup, or a cup packed 250?! Mine (real cups) have it on the vin sticker in the drivers door Basically red calipers tells you it's cupped, but these can obviously be painted.......
Haven't got a clue.... It has recaro seats with the rs monitor and red brake calipers.. What should the vin have on it?
Below the vin it should say something like New Megane coupe renaultsport megane 250 cup Then the VIN no That's what mine says and it's a 250 cup
Ok even more confusing..... All I need to know how do I identify if it has a diff apart from tearing around a back road on the test drive.. The car I'm looking at has the following Red calipers Leather recaro seats Monitor Advertised as a cup car" Just want to be sure what I'm buying is actually what is says on the tin..
There two main models, a more basic spec model called the cup, which has the red calipers, grooved disc, stiffer suspesion, lsd as standard, and the renault sport which had a better spec as standard ie leather, climate control etc, but doesnt have the 'cup pack' as standard but is a optional extra. Being as its got leather it will be what people nickname a full fat (the better spec one) with the optional cup pack which includes lsd and stiffer suspension agmonst other things
