250 Advice needed - Which discs with PFC Z rated .11 pads

    Bought some PFC .11 z rated pads as part of full brake refresh come the spring

    I have the brembo cup HC slotted discs fitted in good condition, but not sure if going to the non slotted HC brembo discs is better for the PRC pads or should I go the full hog with the PFC 348 mm v3 discs ..

    Would either be worth it ? Or stick with what I have ?

    Mostly fast road use with possible occasional trackday use.

    Already have HEL braided lines and RBF660 fluid.

    I agree - I’m running plain discs with the PF-z pads and braking feel is excellent with little noise. I’m also thinking the pads will last longer since they are not being cut by grooves, but I could be wrong on that.

    slotted disks will murder those expensive pads.Theres a reason renualt dumped them in favor of plain disks..

    Thanks for all the feedback with the discs being £127 a pair at the moment on AUTODOC it’s a much more palatable option over the pfc discs at £870

    There on order :smile:

    Standard discs are extremely capable and a hell of a bargain for that price on autodoc. Really can't go wrong with them.

    Was there an offer on Autodoc at the time of you ordering ? Just had a look myself and they're currently £74.68 each - £149.36 for the set.

    Prices on autodoc change often. Check again tomorrow and likely it will be a lower price again.
