Has anyone wired an additional 12v socket into the boot/rear of a R26? I'm planning on going on several camping trips including Europe this summer and want to run a cool box in the back. I dont want to just get a splitter for the cigarette lighter, its bad enough for wires when you've got one thing plugged in. Whats the best way to go about adding one? I was thinking of tapping into the existing one and running wires under the carpet but not sure if it'll cope.
That's exactly what I did. Stick an inline fuse in between the new power output and the exisiting one so you have an extra level of protection in case your worried.
