Can anyone confirm if the acceleration, brake and clutch pedals all should be aligned with each other. Not sure if I'm imagining it but my accelerator seems lower than usual? It also seems to stick half-way pressed or as if there's a bit of resistance? Again not sure if its always been like that as I've had the car about 5 months. Am I going crazy?
I've been doing a bit of reading and apparently the final press/travel of the accelerator is supposed to be a bit stiff due to the cruise control (some kind of over-ride). Strange that I've never noticed this! I'm assuming I get full acceleration during the first 3/4 press? One other thing I've noticed is a clicking sound coming from the pedal itself, anything to concern myself with? Thanks
Mine also clicks when pressed right in or coming off full throttle thought it was some kind of sensor or something
There's a kickdown like you get in an auto right at the bottom of the pedal travel. This won't get you any more acceleration but is to disable the cruise control/speed limiter. I'm not sure about the height of my pedal, all I know is that heel & toe is reeeeally easy in this car and I love it that way.
