My abs and esp warning have come on. It only comes on if i go close to full lock. I have checked the fluid is ok, discs and pads are new front and back. Its been suggested its the abs sensors. It stays off under nornal driving and only comes in when you are parking, etc. Is there anything else it can be? I dont have access to a clip. I just want to be sure before spending some money!
Mine came on a few weeks ago then when I turned the engine off and restarted it was still on for 5 secs or so then went off. Then it happened again, same thing went off and its happened a few times since. Did a bit of trawling and I think the sensor may be loose and maybe a jolt knocks it and the monitor triggers. This may be one of those replies that is of no use whatsoever so sorry about that but the point was it might just be a loose sensor ...
Its on an 06 plate.63k on the clock. I will have the wheels off and have a good rummage around to be sure.
