Hi, I've got a phase 1 megane cup. Recently I've started having the Abs/traction control lights show up on the dash and also get a message saying the esp/Asr has a fault . I also get a pulsing feeling through the brake pedal which feels like the abs is kicking in. Could this be due to something like a ABS sensor? Or Abs ring? I've also heard about these magnetic strips on the Rear disks that could be at fault? The front pads and discs are oem Renault and only 9 months old, the rears are pattern parts and about 14 months old. Steve
Sounds like the sensor to me, this happened to mine recently (2004 megane) but they all stopped working the abs and tcs lights were on too. I unplugged the sensor and gave them a clean and all has been well since. Its worth a try first before you go buying anything.
