    Haha take it easy like the vxr8 that got left a reputable garage and left ;the owner had a secret tiny dashcamera that the garage didn't see and took it racing on the roads

    And another garage that did 162 miles in his car

    Just an update, dogbone and gearbox mount being replaced. Gearbox mount purely as a precaution and piece of mind as I know they are quite common. Dogbone has a fair bit of play in it.

    Will report back after fitting:smile:

    So after the mounts fitted i'm very pleased. Gearbox feels a little more positive, more smooth. Sometimes didn't go into 1st/2nd very easily from time to time. Seems perfect everytime so far. Not heard the rattle sound since either (touch wood) and generally sounds quieter on idle aswell.

    The dogbone mount did have quite significant play in it, could really tell with it off the car. Was able to move it very easily and the new one was solid..
