A louder exhaust, maybe Milltek?

  1. Hi guys i've put a scorpion cat back on my R26 and it's too quiet for my liking so i'm wondering if someone that feels like their exhaust is louder than they'd like would like to swap. I'd like to swap for another full stainless system if someone fancies it

    Cheers

    milltek is quite quiet aswell

  3. Is your scorpion the resonated or none resonated version??

  4. none resonated it's a pipe to replace the centre section and then a scorpion backbox i'm wondering if i need a decat to really unlock the noise :/

  5. Miltek decat should make it a lot louder. I have the standard exhaust with a back box chop, I had it decatted and it became much louder.

  6. hi mate have you got a video of what yours sounds like with the back box chop and decat on standard

  7. I've got a miltek on my 225 it was well quite but on Monday I fitted a scorpion 3"decat and now it's really brought it alive sounds a lot better oh and that's on a miltek non res as well.

  8. decat is gonna have to be next on the cards then!

  9. Loud exhaust?

Buy a Ktec 2.75 system. It will literally do your tits in within a couple of weeks.

  10. haha is it that noisy? i used to have an integra with just a jap can at the end and that was pretty loud, does need to be a daily commuter i just want a bit more noise, don't think the sound deadening helps tbf

  11. the 3 inch ktec is okay, I do a lot of motorway and it's not too annoying but has a nice grumble. I have a decat also tho

thats weird - i had the 2.75" milltek/ktec and wasnt loud at all

  13. No but I'll do one in the next couple of days!

  14. Sure it wasn't just the miltek?

Mine was pretty dam loud and droney too.

  15. Don't find it droney, although it is loud with the 3" decat.

    Sounds like a jet.
