So just been looking on piston heads and there is a trophy r on there for sale with a 40k price tag, are they really worth all that money?? Even if I had it I think I would struggle to spend so much on a Megane. Whats everyone one else's thoughts?
It's been there for a while, if it's the targa florio one then they always ask a lot for their cars. They put a red R26 up that was running 280bhp for £12k!
Even if money was no object, I couldn't do it out of principle. It's a silly amount of money for a Megane. It makes the R26.R look like bargain of the century at 20k.
It does seem like a lot and they always demand mad money for te cars they sell, but if you want a 275 trophy R theyre not available so probably why they have a premium price tag.
Why do people always say "for a megane" There was one for sale at 30k last week and people were saying oh if I had 30k I'd never spend it on a megane... so going on something else brand new ish what else would you spend your 30k on? A Ford? Or are you being unfair and comparing a 1 year old 0 miles car to something like a 5 year old m3 etc....
