275 Trophy Turini's?

Discussion in 'Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres section' started by Lewis, Dec 14, 2015.

  1. Got a price from Renault for these and they are staggeringly expensive as you can imagine. Are they basically just normal Speedline Turini's? If so does anyone know each offset and dimensions at all? Thanks.

  2. It's probably because they have a stupid offset. It's near impossible to get an aftermarket wheel with the same offset.

  3. How much did they quote you per wheel?

  4. Yes you are probably right. The only other option is a different aftermarket wheel. I do prefer the OEM look though.

    £455 each

  5. I've got 18" turini's on my clio, would it help if I find the ET?

  6. I think they were a £1k option, which given that for the basic price of the car you get a set of wheels which they don't give you back seems to put these at roughly the same price.

Not really a ridiculous price, unless you accept they were a ridiculous price as an option, IMHO.

  7. So it still makes them £800 cheaper as an option though than to buy aftermarket right?

  8. These are 19's dude but thank you anyway

  9. That puts the original wheels at £50 each???

Let me explain - now from Renault they are £455 each, x4=£1820.

Say you paid £25k for the basic car. This came with a set of 18" wheels. You upgrade to the 19" for an extra £1k. Renault keep the original wheels.

If you valued the original wheels at £205 each when new, which seems reasonable, then the price is the same - (4x£205)+£1000.

The option wheels were never £250 each because Renault didn't give you the other set.

  10. I see what you now, becuase you don't get to keep the other set of wheels. Yes I guess when you put it like that it's not so bad. It's still not cheap though!

  11. Oh absolutely they're not cheap compared to aftermarket wheels, I agree

When I called the chap at Renault Wolverhampton in September he quoted me just under £1500 all in

  14. Did you get a name dude? Actually there are aftermarket wheels that look good but we need a Megane 250 specific thread.

  15. The Turini offsets are ET65 and you can order them in Red or Black for around £350 each + an extra £25 for centre caps in relevant colours.

Black Speedline Turini Wheel (pn 403002025R) £295.87 +VAT
    Black Centre Cap (pn 403156891R) £16.91 +VAT
Full set including VAT = £1501.34

Red Speedline Turini Wheel (pn 403008117R) £290.06 +VAT <--- marginally cheaper.

You could pick up a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.3 all be it an 18" wheel in black that look pretty similar with an ET55 offset PCD 5x114.3 for less than £820.00
