265 - pads and fluid

  1. Hi all

a while back, picked up some brake fluid rbf 600 and was reading up on a pad upgrade this evening from the OE

Been eyeing up the pf z rated pads but unsure if they’d be up to the odd track day

What pad do people recommend around a similar price to the z’s that offer a more hybrid role between road and track? Preferably kind to the disks and wheels with dust

Also, is it worth the upgrade to 660 fluid?

track day wise, not done one in the Megane yet but max would see a couple a year if i ever get round to it

    thanks in advance

  2. ive got pf z rated and rbf600. battered the brakes at cadwell and yesterday at blyton on the eastern curcuit to within an inch of there life and they held up no issues

fluid and braided lines is a must

  3. Thanks for prompt reply mate.. based on your experience i will follow on on the pfz’s and run with 600 first, along with the braided lines

remember you saying to go with goodridge when i picked up intercooler from you so will get them ordered too

    cheers

  5. Indeed i’ve emailed him last night and hopefully picking up some bits in a few days

disks were way cheaper online though.. autodoc had 31% off last night.. having said that they’re always running a discount but think 31% is one of the highest they’ve ran

    cheers
