Does anyone know the Renault part number for the stock, black halogen lights that come on the 265? I'm on the look out for some, but just in case I decide to go direct, the number would be great. Oh and does anyone have a clue how much they are new? I'll call Renault anyway, but just thought I'd save myself a shock! And I'm assuming they bolt straight into a 250 with halogens already?
Have a look at xenons online on eBay. They have Depo oem equivalent ones. I keep meaning to buy some but haven't bothered yet !
Been looking at those. Well these ones specifically http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-M...Headlamp-Black-Drivers-Side-O-S-/191685599699 Just had an email back from them saying these will not fit my 2011 RS though as they are 2012 onwards only. Is that the case? I thought the 2012-14 lights fitted the earlier cars?
Pretty sure thats the same set of lights that James25 used in his and probably odinson as well. Im sure they can confirm....
I know the 2012 265 onwards renault removed the side lights out the head lamp as the drl was on permenately, where they physically removed it ie redesigned the headlight or just switched it off/not wired is another question
On the 250 yes, has the drl goes off when you switch to sidelights. If there is still a sidelight bulb in the head light then it should work. You need for someone to comfirm that the sidelight bulb is still in the fitting for 265, if it is then you should be ok.
I've got a late 2013 265 and the headlight is still the same. It has the side lights in it they just have them disabled because the DRLs in the blade act as the sidelight. Could get you the part number but it wouldn't be until the weekend as I'm away from home.
Thanks Mike, That's kind what I have found out. So with my wiring loom I should just be able to plug into the sidelights and have them work. I'll have no DRL's mind and it looks very convoluted to the the blade ones running?! I assumed it would be pay Renault a fortune, pop the blanks, install em, done. But noooooo  Who cares though, I'll have black lights
