Has anyone ever managed to remove one of these ball joints from the arms, i have tried but without any success, is there a tool for this job available ????

I have a spare set of arms, so was going to refresh them ready for the season :smirk::smirk:

    Cracked it
A couple of days ago i attacked them with a blow torch, still didn't work.

Had a pair of Stilsons on there but they kept slipping off

So i went through the bits i have in the workshop and fabricated this up, along with a two foot tube over the handle of the stilsons, they undid :sunglasses::sunglasses:
This was only there to stop the stilsons slopping off, so i could apply some real pressure

  3. Done this a few times on meg 3 and clio 3 arms.

Rip the boots off, find a nut large enough to go over the top (from memory it was about 34mm), weld it on then get straight on it with a decent sized bar. The heat helps it out. Never failed.
