Well, my 265 cup is due it's first service in 500 miles, I phoned earlier to get a price, was told £199. Can anyone advise if this is the norm or a good price or overpriced?
Are you not on the +4 plan then (has 4 years free service)? £199 sounds about right, im sure my local dealer wanted about £180 before i pointed out i was on the free service plan.
Really? Id check that, some of the people there have no idea what they are on about, they tried to tell me i couldnt have a service after 2years if i hadnt down 12000miles and vise versa if i did 12000 miles i couldnt have a service until year 2. I then had to correct them! i was under the impression the 4+ was transferable, i may well be wrong on that though
So I found this online on the renault uk site for my car, I removed my reg and vin....so why do I get 4 years warranty and roadside assistance but not 4 years servicing? I don't understand....
send me the link you got that off and i'll check mine see what mine says i'd call renault uk and ask why. i'd open with the question 'if i buy a used car with the 4+ package, is that transferable to me?' if the answer is yes then it should apply to you
just found it on renault, mine does says servicing on the same sheet as you. i'd call them as per my note above. on a side note, version '2.0 16v 270 (bhp)' now 270 eh? news to me lol

Good to know, I think they tried to spin the ex demo bullshit before, I have left my details with them so I am expecting a call, I won't give up until they agree I am covered.
Need help guys, I am currently in a dispute with Renault UK about my 4 years servicing plan, I was told when I bought it that I was covered now they say I am not. Anyway, as the argument goes on, my car is due it's first service in 70 miles time (12,500) I am not willing to pay for this and now I am wondering/worrying if I go past 12,500 without a service do I void my warranty? Or would I only not be covered if something actually went wrong with the car during this time after 12,500 and before a service took place? Help!
I had a real rant today at the manager and all she would offer was 1 free service, I said I wasn't one bit happy with that, my 3rd RS car, have spent £30k+ on RS cars in the last 1.5 years....insulting to be offered a service worth 180 pounds as a good will gesture when I was told the car came with 4 years servicing. I asked the manager to escalate to her manager, so she said she would and they would call me back on Tuesday...useless turn around time for a start, pathetic all in all. I told the girl if they couldn't sort this out for me that I would quite happily go hand the keys back and they can keep it, she didn't seem to give a shit either. The guy that sold me the car no longer works for Renault so they cannot ask him anything about the sale. Not a happy customer at all.
Play on the fact the guy who sold u the car has left. 'He told me it came with 4yrs servicing, he was employed by renault at the time i expect it to be provided' etc etc but as dinn says, get the service done in time dont want them having anything to come back at you with
