    130nm

  3. Thanks

  4. Do people bother putting some form of copper grease / anti sneeze on the wheel bolts. I know torque load is generally dry, luring a bolt up can stretch it more.

  5. used to be 120nm, that proved insufficient when hot bolts came loose, Reno upped it to 130 couple years ago, I still find that lacking in really hot conditions and been going 140nm.

avoid copper grease, Castrol Mollub Alloy the stuff to go for

Studs are the way to go, I had the same problems with bolts loosing off at 130nm

Changed to studs and no issues now. Torqued up after swapping wheels and the remain torqued all day.

  8. I think your right I've just stuck some oz racing wheels on and don't fancie them coming off.

Is 68mm the right size for the stud conversion, running et45.
Do you use red loctite or blue loctite.
What do you do security wise so no scum bag can pinch them easy without having the locking wheel nut on

Old thread but does anyone know the torque setting for when you swap to studs? Stud torque and the nut?

For anyone looking in the future, it looks like studs are 30nm, and nuts are standard bolt torque so 130nm
