Afternoon Got an issue with the drivers door not opening after locking. This can be either auto locking or hitting the button on the handle. So walk away, car locks, but returning the drivers door won't unlock. The hands free knows I'm there as I hear the other doors unlock, and I can gain acces via the passenger door, boot is open and the petrol cap. Using the unlock on the keycard doesn't work either. So at the moment having to go in via the passenger door Is this a simple matter of the black door sensor at fault, or something else? Cheers
Had a similar thing on my 265, hands free stopped working on the drivers door only. Sometimes it would work but mostly not, sensor in the door need replacing.
I suspect as much, this is the black sensor yes? Anyone got a part no, and is it a door card off job?? Cheers
Id have thought it was something with the drivers optical sensor as it doesn't know I'm there? Although if have thought opening via the fob button would work? Not sure really!
the locks knackard, the sensor is picking you up as its unlocking the other doors, and unlocking on the key card is also not unlocking the door.
So not the handle, not the black optical sensor but the actual locking mech? Hmmm wonder if it's as simple as a faulty catch on it or something?
yeh the catch part, mine went on mine, but mine wouldnt lock/unlock unless i deadlocked the door then i couldnt unlock until i pull the handle from the inside. supposely a common problem
That's the only way I can unlock it (pulling the handle inside) You wouldn't have. Part no for the bits replaced on yours by any chance?
All sorted for future reference Was the door lock Not the nicest of jobs, but sorted the clicky check strap at the same time, so all in all, a productive day
