250 250 Cup on Non-cup suspension

  1. Has anyone tried this? Or a non-Cup car with the LSD gearbox? I have a feeling on 18s it would be the best setup for the UKs very poorly surfaced B roads.

With a cup car it's really just a case of springs and dampers, right? I'd probably try it with the Cup spec ARB because 1) I believe it's a pain to drop the subframe? and 2) It would be nice to keep the sharp turn-in. Any thoughts?

Also does anyone know the rough cost of a non-cup set of springs and dampers?

  2. have you tried a non-cup car to drive ??

  3. No I haven't. The standard cup suspension could definitely do with being a bit more compliant for poor roads though

  4. if tried a non-cup that would give idea what it is looking for maybe
