  1. Exude the others noises of me dropping fone etc. does this sound normal inside slightly rattly/ diesel sounding cheers

  2. Just except it's French. You're paying for a more enjoyable car rather than luxurious

would enjoy them even more if they didnt rattle so much!

  4. I just phase out any rattles

Decat and custom exhaust does the trick can't hear my rattles at all.

  6. Got to be honest, my 250 Cup is pretty good, hardly any rattles at all, Renault build quality has come a long way in recent years.

I bought one of the early Clio 16v's brand new in 1992, now that rattled!

  7. I get the odd rattle from the passenger seat and the interior light cover. From experience I think cars that are driven hard seem to rattle more, must be all the flexing etc

Mine makes all sorts of noises these days but it is getting on a bit mileage wise plus the reason Mike gave. I'll be glad when the interior gets ripped out and all have to listen to is road noise and exhaust....

  9. I don't have any rattles, but yes, the engine can sound a bit diesel-ish sometimes..

  10. Most rattles come from crap in my glovebox.

I do notice that the back end flexes a bit and you can hear the plastic inserts in the boot flex.

I don't listen to loud music but even at a sensible volume it masks any minor creak.

It's not like other cars are any different, lots of Golf's out there rattling around.

  11. I upgraded the dogbone mount, helped with the dieselish sounding start up.

  12. I am also surprised with the quality level of my 250 Cup.
Had Clio 200 Cup before and it was also built pretty good.
