[250] Bluetooth upgrade

  1. Hey all,

Having some issues with the Bluetooth on my 250. For about the first 5 minutes after starting the car, my phone constantly pairs and un-pairs with the MyRadioSat thing, making an audible click and causing my mp3's cut out. I've done a bit of research and it seems this might be a fairly common issue and even the dealer said they acknowledge it.

I had it booked in at the dealers as the car is still under warranty, but they say this could take a whole day to fix. Not a problem usually, but the dealer is 70 miles from me and I can only get down there once a week so I'd need to leave the car with them. Surely this is just a software upgrade and I see some posts from not too long ago referring to a Renault page that seemed to carry the update, but throws a 404 error now.

Anyone know if this can be done by and end user or is it really back to the main dealer?

    Ta!

    Nathan.

  2. Yeh, the download i posted above is an update for the usb device, 2.3 to 2.4.2.
the bluetooth update is renault only by the looks of tajes the version from 88.11 to 91.14

  3. I have a 250 without usb.. how do I update the bluetooth stuff.. through the sd card?

  4. Im assuming through obd2 port at a renault dealership

  5. It's looking that way. I assumed (wrongly) this would be a free update at any dealer seeing as the local dealer says there is a known issue with some cars. But unless I take it to the franchise I bought if from, its a £75 diagnosis fee.
