225 245 40 18 on original r25 / r26 Rims

  1. Hey

    I doesn't found something about 245 wheels on a 225
After some research what wheels can fit a 8j rim I see that 245 would fit as max. And that BMW use it from stock.

I have 25mm spacer on the back (per side) and want to ask if anybody had the similar setup and problems? Or problems at the front wheels? (no spacer)

I love that "fat" look on a rim and I want more grip

    Whats your opinion about that?

    (245 40 18 are right or? Or I need to fit 245 35 18?)

  2. I think with 25mm spacers and a 245 they will likely scrub.

  3. Yes they could.

But than I would buy smaller spacer.
