Been trying to get a hold of Phil Watkins to try and sort a short shifter for my 225. anybody have one laying around they don't need? thanks in advance
If it is a 225, then you can do the job yourself easily There is no machining to be done, its just drilling a hole and inserting another ball stud.
phase 1 linkages and actuators are only on 2004 and 2005 cars. The phase 1 actuator had a twin spring design,with small linkage. Its actually the sweetest shift of all mk2 gearshifts when fitted with the shortshift...
i guess ill give it a go myself then, thanks for your help guys. ill be sure to look for a guide. i did see on already for the later design actuator, im guessing its not to different from that?
