Happy New Year. My 2005 225 has developed a habit of jumping out of 6th gear (when accelerating/motorway speeds). The car started doing this mid-December, however the problem went away for around 10 days/1000 miles and returned today. Before i I look into a replacement gear box is there anything else worth looking into first? The fact the problem disappeared for a spell has given me a little hope. Many thanks.
