225 ECU received too many volts

  1. Hi.

Seeking help as to how I might be able to fix this.

The ECU received too many volts because the alternator regulator was wired in backwards. There was no regulation.

Now the ECU gives DF038 fault code, which is Internal Electrical Fault on the S3000 ECU.
This means that the car goes into limp mode when the car warms up and it makes boost, or is under load.

Any tips for what to look for??
    1. All fuses in the car have been checked.
    2. Open ECU case and look for ??
    3. Open UCH and look for ??
    4. Any checks that I can run with CLIP??
    Thanks.

  2. The only other fault is in the ESP computer

    DF193 INVALID INJ. MULTIPLEX SIGNAL

Which I am interpretting as the engine ECU has faulted?

  3. Thanks. Forgot to mention, all the CLIP fault finding checks have been done and passed (those that you list) :worried:
