Travelled down to cheshunt on saturday morning to pick up my 225 cup edition rs, has full stamped history and in really nice condition has had belts changed, swivel hub bearings and selector shaft done in recent times. Has had enlarged induction pipe to turbo and also a remap to 260bhp. The car was sat under a tree and had a rough surface to the touch so i used my 5 year old meguiars clay bar (never used before) and the results where so impressive, the surface is like glass to touch now - imo just needs a paint correction and detail from someone in the know to remove some swirl marks and surface scratching. Managed to get myself a complete brand new forge dump valve with fitting kit for £100 before i went to pick the car up, unknown to me the motor already had a complete kit on it but the valve was missing... the two ends that connect to the valve had been bunged up, so i fitted the valve for now and im going to change over all the blue forge hosing for the black hosing next weekend. Next on the list is either a ktec shortshift or engine dynamics (£240 vs £80) waiting on recommendations from other owners to see which is best to go for.

iv spoke to boardy, going to try and set something up with him! managed to get a replacement head unit tonight, £40 for an as new pioneer unit!

Shortshift modification, ramair induction cone, brembo hc discs, ds2500/ds1.11 pads, jade developments custom boss kit, omp/renault replacement sports steering wheel, BC coilovers, Full decat stainless exhaust system, Bigger core FMIC, Federal RSR tyres or Pilot super sports.
Get a ph2 complete actuator The feel between a ph1 short shift and ph2 short shift is night and day - I couldn't believe how nicer the ph2 kit was than the ph1!
what did you use to get the original stereo out? I bought a pioneer yesterday? Does it need a surround when fitted?
Boardy is going to sort the shortshift out for me, by actuator what do you mean - the piece that you have to modify?
