  1. Any one else have this problem this is 2 now that's happen it doing my head in. Ha

  2. It's happened to me mate. Had 2 new tyres fitted last week and fella showed me a 1" long hair line crack from the outer lip.

There going in for refurb next month so he just glued a rubber repair patch on it to keep me going.

They seem to be made of bloody cheap Aldi chocolate lol.

  3. Tell me about it. I've got it welded like I did the other rim but don't 100% trust it. Was going to have mine refurbished and powder coated but don't know if to bother knowing they've been repaired.

  4. I'm sure the weld will be fine mate, and if your having them powder coated then that's a little extra strength too.

Just before I got 2 new tyres fitted I had to drive on a flat tyre for about 3/4 mile to get some air into it as I don't have a spare wheel. I think this is when the crack has happened when driving it flat. The crack was inline with the tyre pressure sensor.

When they go in for blasting and powder coating I'm having the tyre pressure sensors removed and warning system taken off with clip. I'll have to buy a new wheel and use this welded one as a spare.
