Time has come to part ways with my megane after 4 years of ownership and using as my daily I will miss it but I want a mk3 focus rs now. It's a genuine cup car and has had a few things done to turn it into a nice daily driver and also a capable track car without going too far. Done 94k and has good service history and has always been run on v power and had good quality oil and filters in my ownership ENGINE itg induction kit Forge recirc valve Airtec front mount intercooler Evol engineering lower dog mount Rs tuning decat and Centre resonator delete Rs tuning custom map taking it to 316bhp and 350ftlbs torque Hel clutch damper delete line SUSPENSION AND STEERING Had a low mileage set of cup shocks and new cooksport lowering springs in 2021 Brembo high carbon Plain discs on front with xp8 pads, Mr pink pad pins. standard grooved discs and brembo rear pads. New drop links and anti rotation links beginning of 2023, new osf driveshaft about 2 months ago. EXTERIOR Debadged tailgate (megane removed) Black badges Rear wiper delete Maxton spoiler lip Rhino front splitter lip Back wrapped roof and sunstrip. INTERIOR standard cup spec interior unfortunately doesn't have the recaro Cs seats but the standard are so comfy and held me well on trackdays. Rs monitor fitted from factory. It does have a few bad bits but it is 13yrs old. Aircon isn't working had it gassed but still inoperative think it's the compressor clutch. Clutch release bearing is a little noisy when clutch pressed at idle but working fine. Asking £7500 Which is a steal but I need it gone ASAP but won't entertain stupid offers. Forgot to add its on standard 18 inch cup wheels with yokohama AD08 TYRES all round that weee new in 2022. Wheels do need refurbing if you want them mint but I never bothered as I used it on track. Has black headlight inserts Cleaned and polished regularly and always has a coat of wax or sealant on it. Located in Sheffield/Barnsley Cheers

Price seems good in my eyes! Most likely the problem is that you're attracting a part of the market that are hit by all sorts of trouble (financing costs) at that price point. And people with more cash may consider younger Meganes?! I would never tell anyone to not buy a car, but we got rid of an Mk3 Focus RS after 14 months from new. And not for the dreaded engine issues, but because it was quite dull for a hot hatch.
I've always had old ford's, rs turbos xr2s and a sapphire cosworth and aside to a willians clio I had at 18 this us the only other renaultsport car I've had. I do really like it and no doubt I will buy another as a pure track car on the future but my little lad really wants me to get a focus rs too after he saw my mates and I'm that soft I've convinced myself I need to own one now
