2010 Megane FF Cup £11995

  1. For Sale my 2010 (60) Megane RenaultSport RS250.

    Just 39’100 miles on the clock and is in excellent condition.

    This is a FF (Full Fat) Cup spec car with LSD, Recaro leather seats, Xenon and Light pack with adaptive Xenons, Folding Mirrors, Dual Zone AC (Ice Cold), RS monitor, Keyless entry and the Arkamys 3D stereo upgrade.

    It also has a ZPO Custom Carbon Gear shift lever (OE lever included), RS275 Red seatbelts (Black belts included) and the white trimmed Carbon insert dash trim (trim insert with red included).

    I bought the car to keep as a weekend / occasional track day car from another enthusiast/forum owner who had already taken extremely good care of the car, I am not using it at all really and don’t expect to anytime soon due to home/work commitments.

    In the last year and within 1000 miles the car has had the essential spares/servicing and additional modifications that follow carried out:-

    Interior / Exterior

    - Full corrective polish and Liquid Elements Eco Shield three year Ceramic coating by G3 Valeting.

    - Steering Wheel Alcantara retrim with white stitching by Royal Steering Wheels

    - Megane RS275 Trophy Red seatbelts

    - New RenaultSport floor matts

    - Three new working keys plus one old working

    - Bonnet and boot Badges painted Satin Black (not stick on covers)

    - Rear wiper delete (Motor, Arm and Wiper also supplied)

    - New door handle covers in OE silver as the old ones had stone chips

    - Both door straps replaced with OE Renault units (stops the clicking when doors ore opened/shut (common issue))

    - Zero Point One (ZPO) Custom made Carbon Gear shift lever

    - Brand New Lucas OE rear lights (old ones were fogging up after washing)

    - Full Carbon fibre skins for drivers, centre and passenger air vents

    - White trimmed Carbon insert dash trim and start button (to match ZPO).

    - Yellow RS250 speedo cluster swapped with Grey RS265 speedo cluster Mileage is correct (mileage updates from Engine ECU and ABS ECU to the speedo cluster) pics to prove on day it was changed. Both Speedos here RS250 can be refitted and will update to current mileage. This was done to update to a white speed needle so you can see how fast you are going (was a goodwill customer option by Renault UK but no longer available), I also changed TPMS to PSI not BAR and this gives electronic MPH in digital display which RS250 dash does not.

    Engine / Exhaust

    - Full Engine Remap by Andy at Engine Dynamics to 301.6 hp / 347.6 Lb Ft Torque

    - KTR Sports Exhaust system - Full 3” Stainless Steel system with KTR 3” Sports Cat

    - Airtech Stage 1 Intercooler (RS250 pre facelift specific)

    - CLM Silicone intercooler hoses (Red)

    - GT Performance Silicon coolant hoses (Black)

    - GT Performance silicon boost pipe (Red)

    - K and N Panel filter with drilled air entry (std filter and cover also supplied)

    - Hel clutch damper delete line

    - Gearbox Hi-tensile Bolt upgrade

    - Powerflex Yellow engine mount insert.

    Brakes

    - All Brake Calipers have been replaced with brand new OE Brembo / TSW calipers inc rear support brackets all treated with C5 ceramic coating before fitting to protect.

    This is Inclusive of:
    Mr Pink stainless steel brake pins

    4 x Titanium Bleed screws on fronts

    Front Hel braided brake lines

    Full Motul RBF660 high performance brake fluid flush

    - New front Brembo High Carbon OE brake disks (09.A752.11)

    - PFC Z-Rated .11 brake pads .

    Suspension /Wheel and Tires

    - Full Suspension overhaul with new Bilstein B12 Pro Kit – Bilstein dampers and Eibach springs including new OE top mounts.

    - New Drop Links and anti-twist links (no knocks from suspension at all)

    - 4 x Michelin PS4 235/40/18 tyres on recently refurbished Cup alloys (No kurbing on any wheel) all over 5mm tread

    - Tracking fully checked and new OE Renault track rod end and steering arm fitted

    - Bimmec wheel stud kit.

    Servicing

    - Full service and Cam Belt change by four ashes Renault specialist in 2018 with stamp in book

    - New OE Renault clutch fitted at 38k by KTR along with gearbox oil seal, inc full Gearbox/Diff Oil change with Millers 75/90 Gearbox oil.

    - Full service June 2020 – OE Oil, Coolant, plugs and brake fluid change RBF660

    - Thermostat changed with new OE and full OE coolant replacement

    - Coolant temperature sensor replaced

    - All undertray bolts removed and replaced with stainless replacements

    - Full software update at Renault

    - Serviced on the 7/05/2021 with 6 litres of Shell Helix, OE filter and new sump plug and washer for oil change this is within 1 year and 4000 miles of the last change. (I do it yearly) also changed the millers with ELF TRANSELF NFP 75/80 OE gearbox oil as the millers was causing stiff change when cold.

    The car is in perfect condition, with no faults at all.

    The car was “CAT N” (Non-Structural) in 2018 due to someone reversing into the car damaging mainly the front bumper and both lights, due to the cost of the lights at over £800 each from Renault, a new bumper, paint, labour etc … the car was considered beyond economical repair (very easily done these days).

    The car was bought and fully repaired with genuine Renault parts by four ashes Renault specialists to a very high standard, when viewing I could not tell and since removing the bumper for the intercooler etc. there is no evidence at all of any damage.

    I have the pictures from vcheck that show the low level of damage before repair, no airbags were deployed etc.

    Because of this the Service history up to 30k is not available, however, if like me you accept the low mileage, condition of the car and MOT history etc. it is very clear it will have been serviced properly up to the three year point and beyond. I was also told verbally that the belts had been changed once before the change in 2018, they assessed this with the date of the belt when they changed it and serviced the car as a matter of course post repairs at four ashes.

    I viewed several RS250/265 cars before this and can say they were not even close to the standard of this car, so don’t let this put you off.

    This car has had over £9k pounds spent on it in the past year (I have receipts available to back this up) getting it to the standard it is currently at so I will not accept any stupid offers I will just keep it if not sold.

    The RS (R555 C**) private plate will not come with the car and it will revert to its “SB60 C**” reg but can be bought for an additional £500 if wanted, please contact me for more detail on this if required.
