I have my Megane for sale - £8200 Nov 2010 Megane 250 RS Cup (proper cup not cup pack) in white with yellow dot Recaro’s in excellent condition with no rips or tears etc, LSD, RS Monitor, red Brembo’s and yellow belts. It has only had 2 previous owners. The car is in superb condition, completely standard apart from carbon dipped door handles and dash trim which I had done recently. I searched for 9 months to find a car with this spec that was completely standard and unmolested and most importantly had not been tracked. Front tyres are virtually new Goodyear eagle f1's rears are Michelin PS4's 5mm min, brake pads all round are almost new and has the cup grooved Renault discs front and back. I bought a 5th wheel as a spare which also has a good tyre fitted, pretty sure it is also a Michelin PS4 but need to confirm. You will struggle to find another 250 Cup in this condition that has not been tracked or abused. I bought the car at the end of Aug 2018 with the intention of modding it and using for sprints/hills etc but work pressures etc have resulted in me not having time to do anything to the car. A further change to my circumstances means I am going to be working a way from home a lot so it really is pointless keeping the car any longer as a garage queen. The car is in superb condition, it was first registered on 30/11/10 and It has a comprehensive documented service history and the old MOT certificates. The car is MOT’d until 23/3/2021. I have recently serviced the car myself and it has done no more than 100 miles since. I fitted a new Renault thermostat, new KTEC clutch damper delete, new 4 piece Goodridge brake hose kit and 2 piece proline kit so all 6 brake hoses replaced. Serviced with Renault oil filter and Millers CFS 5w40 oil. Gearbox oil changed and Renault Tranself NFP 75W80 used, Brake fluid completely flushed and PFC 665 fluid used and new Renault coolant used to top up system post thermostat change. I also found a small weep from the VVT Solenoid seal so I have replaced that as well. Previous service was carried out on 11/6/2018 at 75,762 miles. It had the gearbox bearings replaced along with a new Renault clutch and slave cylinder on 2/8/18. It had a major service carried out on 13/1/2017 at 63,647 miles at a cost of £904 including belts and water pump, spark plugs, pollen filter etc etc. There is a fully comprehensive pack of receipts showing the car has been maintained regardless of cost, the previous owner even paid a garage to rotate his wheels again receipts are there with the pack. Other than that the car really is a nice example of an unmolested 250 Cup. I am looking for £8200 for the car. The car is located in Glasgow within easy reach of the M74/M73. I have collected a lot of parts over the last 2 years as mentioned with the intention of turning the car into another sprint car. Most are new and are still boxed, these will be offered to the buyer before being advertised so please do not ask to purchase any parts as they are not for sale until the car is sold but a sample of what I have is :- Brand New black ZPO shifter with red knob upgrade and carbon dipped cover Brand new Ktec induction kit Brand New Silver Project front top mounts for standard dampers Used Sports Cat downpipe was told it was KTEC but no proof in excellent condition Brand new GT Performance silicon boost/intake hoses Brand new Powerflex black series upper gearbox insert PFF60-720BLK Brand new Centre silencer mid silencer delete pipe de-res pipe Brand new upper and lower gearbox mounts, lower mount has had the mating surface professionally decked and re-tapped to 12mm, high tensile bolt and washers included Brand new gloss black Diamond Performance front and rear badge covers Used but excellent condition forge dump valve and blanking plate Brand new BC front drop links ideal if lowering the car Set of low mileage cup dampers and Eibach springs, really good condition. Used but excellent condition stainless 3” de-resinated cat back exhaust not sure on make but looks decent quality Set of front hubs which have been vapour blasted and clear coated. New ball joints fitted and proper aircraft jointing compound used during instal to make sure they do not corrode into the hubs. EE brackets and brake line brackets also blasted but these still need painted to look nice didn’t get round to that. One of the EE pinch bolts has been drilled out and replaced with a bolt. This is actually better as you don’t have the issue of the bolts seizing in the threads. Common modification on similar set up on Impreza hubs. Not sure on price for these as there is a lot of work in them, will come with the bearings which were remove and seem fine my plan was to replace those as well. Set of front suspension arms which have been vapour blasted and converted to spherical bearings, would come with new ball joints. Set of 2015 Subaru Impreza STI alloy wheels. Need to check but they are 114.3 PCD 18” ET55 and are either 8.25J or 8.5J. They have a centre bore of 55.1 so need the bore adjusted to 66.1 to fit the Megane which is simple and cheap to get done.
