2007 225 Clutch fitting advice please

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by AR820, Sep 20, 2016.

  1. Hi, I am fitting a new clutch to my 2007 225 next week, I have a new genuine Renault clutch and slave cylinder ready to go in.
I am a tech but for a different brand so any tips for removing the Megane transmission and replacing clutch would be appreciated.
I will be doing the job at home without the use of a ramp.
    Thanks in advance
    Jim

  2. You will at least Jack stands cause you are going to have to remove all the cross members and drive shafts before you eventually get to gearbox, so the front will need to raised for the duration of the job
