225 2 pot calipers on rear

  1. Just curious but do any of the RS' come with 2 or more pot calipers on the rear?

Mine are single pot and pondering getting an uprated set of calipers.

Anything that would be "plug & play" or would they require some re-jigging?

    Curious is all!

  2. not needed rear brakes do hardly anything. You'd need ones that do the handbrake too else youd need an extra caliper for the handbrake

  3. Thanks!

  4. Would look good though with brembo four pots all round

  5. Wouldn't having the same size brakes on the rear alter the bias and make the car more unstable under hard braking?
This is what I was always told.

  6. I always thought it would look cool if you could get six pots for the front and then put the fronts on the rear.

I was going to put the brembo caliper off the 350Z on the rear but never got round to it, still like to do it tbh.

  8. @Naith - would it be a straight swap onto the Meg? Anything need to be changed?

I would of thought it would need a separate caliper for the handbrake?

  10. Yes, you'd need a dual caliper setup on the rear.

It would be a lot of work just for the looks and having more braking force on the rear would put you backwards into the nearest ditch.
