Hi there , Need a bit of help . My 265 has just failed on its suspension - front and driver side "Swival pins " , Renault Aberdeen want 1900 pounds to do this . I'm no expert but this seems mental, rentec Edinburgh are charging 160 per side for Swival hub bearings , is this the same thing ?? Really do not need this cost at the moment, any help is appreciated
1900 quid will probably be to replace the whole hub assembly plus new wheel bearings. As you've said the swivel bearings can be replaced in your existing hubs. Did it fail the mot? Is your steering stiff, not self centering after a tight turn?
As said that would be for whole hub as Reno don’t replace just bushes. Go Rentec and no need to replace upper swivel they last forever just lowers and 160 side inc swivel is good price
