07 Megane R26 Black £6400

    Full Service History and plenty of extra paperwork to go with the car.
    I bought it off a friend of mine who owned it 2 years previous (a well known member on the Renault forums) and the prior owner to this was well known for looking after this car.

    Current spec is Milltek cat-back (square style tips), Forge uprated intercooler, Airbox mod, RS Tuning Stg2 map with 283hp and 330lbft, I have all the dyno printouts too, HP/torque one here:

    The car has fitted a professionally painted R26.R spoiler too.

    At 64k the following work was carried out by Mick at Diamond Motors (highly rated on CS). This consisted of the following:

    Clutch kit, slave cylinder, dual mass flywheel, timing belt kit, waterpump, auxiliary belt kit, thermostat, spark plugs, engine oil/filter, gearbox oil, 2x driveshaft seals, rear main crank seal, CLIP diagnostics, 4x OE engine mounts. This came to £1366.
    At 74k the car went back to Diamond motors again for its next routine service. (Oil, filters and a good general checkover.) A few issues were highlighted which I have now had rectified.
    I have had the steering rack replaced as it was making a creaking sound. The original unit had dried out and was slightly worn. At the same time I had both the swivel hub bearing replaced. This was carried out by Bolsover Car Care. (07/12/2013)
    Brand new Brembo disks and pads up front (11/2013)
    The rear tyres (PilotSport 3’s) are almost brand new still and the fronts are Evo 12’s which are slightly older but still have loads of life left.

    Bodywork wise it's in a pretty good way. I'd not describe it as mint as it's not, the front end has a few stone chips etc which is to be expected with the mileage. Apart from that there's not much to fault really. Wheel wise I have 2 sets of the OE R26 wheels. Most have the odd mark but not much in the way of curbing, would benefit from a refurb if you wanted a perfect set. I'm probably being overly fussy. (Available with the car but at an extra cost.)

    9 thousand miles left to the next scheduled service, although if I still have it then I'll be dropping the oil and filter with 6 thousand left on the clock to split the interval.
