Finally got round to this, why its taken so long i dunno..

Takes no time at all with the right tools.

Fuck using bungs or grommets etc to fill the hole they look naff imo.
Modified a standard wiper cover and now it looks oem.. proper job.

Small bit of plastic glued on then Filled and sanded down smooth, then sprayed with some sort of texture spray paint, looks and feels like standard plastic

  9. haha look out the front......good answer. looks factory does that buddy nice effort

i like but id miss my rear wash wipe, lucky your model came with see through glass

  10. How does the motor come off? Is it bolts or rivets?

  11. Its riveted on.

Yeah 4 rivets, easy enough to drill off tho in a few mins

  14. I think I'd be lost without it tbh

  15. I've had cars without rear wipers before, massively annoying when it's raining. It would be even worse with the meg as all the crap from the back gets kicked up all over the back window.

  16. I did this on my 172, I lasted a few months through the summer untill the roads got dirty again and stuck it back on.

    Does look 100000xbetter though

  17. Suppose it is just 3-4 rivets if it annoys me

Rear window is covered in wax and rain x so rain isnt a problem, when it gets too dirty with crud off the road i wash it...

Not a major problem and does look better imo

  19. Haha you have a good point...

  20. I use turtle rain clear or something simmilar called and on long roads even if raining I dont have a need to use my rear wiper even after 600mile trip in one direction.
But when i pull in the petrol station to refil, make a piss or drink a coffe I can wash em if I need (I still have the wiper but prefer not to use it if I dont have to)
