265 Cup air con not working

  1. I did some reading up, and it seems that the pulley only shears because there is an issue with the shaft, so you can replace the pulley but the chances are it will fail again soon after.

Because of this, I decided to just replace the pump.

If the pulley was only a few quid, I would have taken a risk on trying that first, but they seem to be about £70 - £75 and I got a brand new Nissens pump for under £200 so just didn't seem to be worth the outlay to me.

Fitting the pump on the floor wasn't fun though (not hard, just lots of stuff to remove to get it out and new one in).

The old pump didn't turn vey smoothly by hand, it would turn then lock, then turn then lock.
