250 Suspension setup for fast road/normal driving

I currently have AVO's on my Megane, not the best, but they are pretty good for the money at the time. I know there was a lot of controversy about them, but I've not had any issues.

I'm thinking of switching to something else though that's a bit softer as our roads are just terrible. I've heard mixed things about BC, what are they like on the Megane? I was also looking at just going to B12 Bilstein's with some lowering springs and wondered if anyone on here had some experience with them compared to cup suspension?
