265 Ktec or ITG induction kit.

  1. What's everyone's opinion? Which one would you choose and why?

  2. Most people seem to prefer stock with an uprated panel filter! That's what I'm going for atm..

  3. Stock airbox is well designed according to everything I've read. I just removed the stupid foam sound reducing in the back of the airbox and put a decent panel filter in there. I dont think that the 265 had the foam however... Someone else with a 265 can confirm.

  4. I had already removed the foam and was running a pipercross filter. I opted for the ktec kit and fitted it yesterday

  5. Ive heard its just a £200 Noise maker.. i took the foam out of mine, added a BMC panel filter and its great.
Until Kteck can prove gains from their kit..

  6. Each to their own I suppose. Induction kits on the mk3 have been shown to gain 10bhp on a mapped car.

  7. I have the k-tec induction kit on my 250. I agree that it probably is just a noise maker with little or no performance gains, but i love the way it sounds!

  8. I have the Ktek - sounds amazing  I will have it run on the RR soon so will check performance gains if there are any

  9. I'm fitting an ITG panel filter to mine today. But I'll be going for either a home brew CAI or the ktek effort when I go for mapping.

  10. I fitted the ktec induction kit. Happy with it, not sure if it's placebo effect but car seems to pull better. Plus it sounds good
