Want a carbon spoiler? I don't like it anymore and want inferno to match my body work And wing mirrors.
Naa sorry. Love the all orange look. Wanted it to look as smooth and clean as possible. Got the door mouldings smoothed and the bullets are orange too.
Yeah. It should look even better when its all built back up. Got a cupra splitter for it too. The no plate will be a square one fitted underneath the tow eye cover. Its actually a jdm civic plate relocator bracket, that will bolt on to the underside of the lower bumper grill recess. It will be fitted this next week. Ill get pics up
Nice work. I'm thinking about a respray, did you think about smoothing the doors/rear wing and doing away with the mouldings at all?
Naa. Too much work. Soo much work went into getting it as good as it is now. I'm sure it could look super smooth tho if you did.
Very nice mate. Looks a top job that. I know garages will vary but what sort of price is it these days for a full respray? Eventually may look at getting mine done when I'm finished with all the niggles.
Couldn't get it off without damaging it lee, so easier to leave it on. Luckily im mate's with the guys who did all the work i couldn't. But i think the paint was about £400-£450. I experienced the amount of work that goes into a full prep & paint job. I can now understand how much decent bodyshops charge. They did say when it was done the job should of cost on the region of £2500- £3000.
Its only a few screws. Took me around 40 hours to do mine start to finish, strip panel prep paint refit, not polished yet though that's next also wheel refurbs. My paint alone was £500.not including primer,or clear coat.
Big hob. I wouldn't do again. Especially when you car wasnt so straight before you start. + any mods you want doing...
How did you attach your plate? I wanna go for the smoothed bumper look. Can you post a straight on photo?
