  2. It's a specific Renault aux cable that fits in the back of the head unit

  3. Do you Know where i can get one? I have had a specific cable but it doesn't plug in anywhere?

  4. Youll need to remove the CD changer plug. This is where the AUX plug goes.

  5. There is literally no where on the back of the 6 disc changer to plug it? all of the main stereo is in the boot in a little compartment.

  6. I think you are supposed to remove the CD changer plug from the back of the headunit, then put the AUX plug into the headunit where the CD changer plug used to be.

  7. As above - it replaces the changer.

  8. So I disconnect the changer cable in the boot and replace it with the AUX one.....what good is that!? This meaning I would have no use of my HU controls in the centre console and whatever device i use as an aux will have to go in the boot?

  9. No, what you need to do is get some keys and remove the headunit from your dash (google headunit if you're not sure what it is). Your CD changer is currently plugged into the back of the headunit. Unplug the CD changer from your headunit, and then plug your AUX cable into your headunit (where the CH changer used to be plugged in). You can then put your headunit back into your dash, but remember that the AUX cable will need to be routed from behind the headunit to somewhere that you can put your MP3 player/phone (such as inside your glovebox).

  10. please have a look at my first picture, my changer is my Head unit?! I have removed it many times and there is no where for the cable to go..... as I have said before all of the main receiver is in the boot! If I unplug the CD changer the whole unit in my centre console becomes redundant and i still have no where to plug an AUX cable.

  11. Cant see pic but if its a cabasse unit then as far as i mind aux cable connects to unit in boot.

  12. It's because yours is cabasse, you need the cabasse cable it plug's into the amp in the boot then you run it under the carpet to the glovebox or centre console, hope that helps!

  13. Thanks for all the input guys, i have found a cable that matches the one in the tutorial. £24.95!!!!! does anybody know of any cheaper? must be a long one thought as it need to come from the boot!
