Well I got the mid box chopped out at infinity exhausts and then into the remap next door in South west tuning. The mid box removal was done in 25 mins for £50, a noticeable difference but not massive, I was suprised how hollow that box is when I looked clear through it. Next came the map (£320), standard run came in at 262bhp / 258 lbf.ft, had to wait for the car to fully cool down due to some renault thing that prevents service mode and if the engine is above 40c. Post result was 303bhp / 306 lbf.ft. Pretty happy with that

Got the car back - wow mid box chop is mega!! 100% worth it!!!!! I'll get some vids up as I did some on go pro the other night so I can compare!
Mid box was worth it but not as noticeable as i hoped although much more when given the beans! It's a custom map he does for each car, I've done about 60 miles so far and all perfect, no issues with anything. Little nervous as my non-cup is not as effective with torque steer.

Are all maps that are done for RS250s custom?. IME the longer you spend on a custom map the better. How long did he take on yours?
it was about 2 hours for everything but we had to let the car cool right down to get the car into service mode.
